Located in the heart of Memphis, The
Downtown Church of Christ (DTC) serves the Cleaborn and
Foote Homes neighborhoods. The DTC sits in the 38126
zipcode, which is consistently one of the nations poorest
zipcodes. Consequently, the DTC faces the challenge of
confronting poverty everyday. Thankfully, God has
worked and continues to work through this church to share
the hope and life of Jesus with this neighborhood in
Memphis.
The Roof
The roof is now fixed! No more leaks! No more
flooding! Thanks to some very generous support, we
were able to fix the roof at the DTC. There is still
more work to be done - the leaking roof has now caused
extensive damage from mold - but fixing the roof was the
biggest step in this renovation project.

Sycamore View church of Christ
recently collected food to be distributed at the Downtown
Church. It took 3 vans and 3 trailers to haul it all
down to the pantry. View the video below to

The Spring Break Camp was a huge
success. Kids from all around the DTC neighborhood
came to
participate. Several contacts were made with families
and the kids had a great time!

Over 70 members of the community
surrounding the Downtown Church showed up for a free lunch
today.
